TRIVIA

• Evangeline was going to be a magical girl at first. I later thought the "cutesy and bloody magical girl" trope doesn't give me much room for development so i made her a cult leader instead.
• I'm unsure of when she was created exactly, i remember writing her lore in 2023 but i found art of her all the way from 2020 so i guess we'll never know.

LORE

• Eve or Evangeline as she'd rather be called is a cult leader. Years of abuse and pointless praying led her to realise the religion her family wants her to follow is a lie. What kind of 'benevolent God' would let the world become so disgusting? Evangeline takes it upon herself to fix the world. Her hope grows into a delusion that she's an angel sent to 'free' and 'help' mortals. She believes being alive can only bring misery and pain, and that it is better not to live at all to avoid suffering. So Eve truly believes she's helping and doing something right by killing. She means well.
• Eve lost her eye at age nine when she killed a wild bunny. Her older sibling (they'll never be mentionned anywhere else because this is the only time they are relevant)who is very sensitive to animal cruelty impulsively punched her in the face. The hit landed on her eye and made her lose vision in it. Eve thinks "having fun" is a waste of time. She's unconsciously condescending when speaking because she's truly convinced she's above those miserable mortal humans.
